Dubai is home to the World’s No.1 sustainable building

The Change Initiative, a UAE-based sustainability venture, announced today that it has been awarded the Leed Platinum certification, obtaining the position of the most sustainable building in the world, in June 2013, presented by the US Green Building Council (USGBC).

With this certification, The Change Initiative has placed Dubai at No. 1 on the charts for sustainable buildings in the world.

The Change Initiative has obtained a colossal 107 points, breaking the previous record of 104 points, out of a maximum of 110 on the Leed sustainability guidelines, where points are awarded for sustainable sites, water efficiency, energy and atmosphere, materials and resources, indoor environmental quality, innovation in design, and regional priority.
