Dubai Police adds new car in its luxury fleet… click to know

Dubai Police continues to expand its fleet of luxury vehicles with the latest to join is Porsche 918 Spyder hybrid.

The environment-friendly luxury car is on display at the Dubai International Motor Show being held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Major General Khamis Mattar Al Mazeina, Dubai Police Chief, said luxury patrol vehicles – which are mainly used to patrol the tourist areas – are equipped with the latest technology  and cameras. The vehicles are also linked electronically with the command and control center of Dubai Police.

He said the addition of luxury security vehicles in Dubai Police’s fleet attracted global media’s attraction,  especially from the television.



Dubai Police added three Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrids to its fleet of luxury cars in April 2015.

The addition of hybrid vehicles reflects Dubai Police’s commitment to provide a sustainable environment to the local community here.

It also added the fastest car Bugatti Veyron earlier this year. Other luxury cars a Lamborghini Aventador, a Ferrari FF, a Chevrolet Camaro SS, a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, a Bentley Continental GT, a limited edition Aston Martin One-77, a Ford Mustang GT, a BMW M6 Gran Coupé, a Brabus G63 AMG, a Lykan HyperSport, a Bugatti Veyron, an Audi R8, a Nissan GT-R, a Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG, a McLaren MP4-12C, a Hummer H3, a Lexus GS and others.
