Dubai Police's Victory Team gets superfast rescue boat

Dubai Police’s ‘Victory Team’ has received a high-speed “X Cat” class rescue boat.

The boat, which can carry four to six people, reached a speed of 85 nautical miles an hour during testing.

Lieutenant General Dahi Khalfan Tamim , Deputy Chief of Police and Public Security in Dubai,  thanked Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum , Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Sports Council, for his generosity in gifting the rescue boat to Dubai Police.

The superfast boat is 31 feet in length, with a width of three metres. The boat has fuel tank with 780 litres capacity and a water tank of 60 litres.
