Dubai traffic fine? Just dial '901' to pay

Dubai motorists can now pay traffic fines by dialing toll-free line 901.

The new launch is in line Dubai Police’s strategy to simplify procedures of fine payment, revealed Director, Smart Services, Colonel Khaled Al Razzuqi, who said that over 15 million transactions of traffic payment have been already made through smart channels.

Explaining how the service works, Col. Razzuqi said, “Upon dialling the number, motorists can talk to the employee in-charge and give their credit card number to make the payment. This procedure is safe and convenient.”

This is only an addition to the several other modes of payment methods that is already successfully being used, such as paying through the 1,000 Max Box ME kiosks across the country; via Dubai Police website; through Emirates NBD services; or via applications on iPhones, Android, MPay and touch screens.

Not to mention the common service centre or direct customer service.
