Electrician accused of molesting housemaid

A Pakistani electrician  is standing trial in the Court of First Instance on charges with kidnapping and molesting a 28-year-old Ethiopian housemaid.

While the victim was waiting for a cab in MOtor City, Jebel Ali, SZ, 23, offered to drop her at Mall of Emirates for Dh20.

But no sooner she got in than she noticed that he began taking a different route.

She immediately requested to stop the vehicle but he ignored her. He then started molesting her in the moving car.

She tried confrontinh him asking him for his mobile number when SZ challenged her to call the police. She then pretended to call the cops by dialling her own number, but even that did not stop his advances.

As a traffic signal neared and the car was slowing down, she took her cahnce and jumped out. Her sponsor informed police.

The victim was injured in the head and several parts of the body as she fell out from the car.
