Emirates 24l7 videographer wins UAE Blogger Award

Emirates 24l7 videographer has won the Best Asian Blogger award for 2012.

Veathika Jain won the Best Asian Blogger 2012 at the 5th Masala Awards in Dubai. The gala evening saw Bollywood stars Karisma Kapoor, Shabana Azmi, Javed Akhtar, Gauhar Khan and Sophie Chowdhery. The evening’s host Ayushman Khurana announced the winners and entertained the audience.

Veathika Jain said: “It’s my first award and I feel absolutely humbled and honoured to receive recognition for a blog I started just over a year ago. This award is the beginning of many exciting things to come on the website including a web show.”

The Award process started 3 months ago, when five nominations in each category were announced, which were then scaled down to Top 3. The popular choice awards winners were determined through voting by the magazine’s readers.
