Emirates opens India discount window

15% discounted-fare period ends on July 23, valid for travel until end of November

Indians looking to welcome their families to Dubai are heaving a sigh of relief as Emirates announced its global sale for the lucrative Asian market.

Valid to over 50 select Emirates destinations, for passengers travelling in economy and business classes, the sale commenced yesterday and is valid for booking from until July 23, 2012.

With up to 15 per cent discount on select destinations across its network, those looking to avail of this offer must complete their outbound travel on or before November 30th 2012.

Under this offer, an economy class Return airfare from Chennai to Dubai will start at Dh1278, inclusive of taxes, while an economy class return airfare from Kolkata to Dubai will start at Dh1,580.

Other discounted fares are also available to cities such as Johannesburg, London, Paris, New York and Los Angeles, which works as an incentive for those looking to extend their holidays to India to a global one.

Emirates operates 185 weekly flights to 10 Indian destinations in India.
