Emirati killed in Sharjah accident

A 21-year-old Emirati was killed in a car accident on Sheikh Khalifa road in Sharjah on Sunday.

According to a report in Emarat Al Youm, his car fell into a valley, critically injuring him.

Police rushed him to Al Dhaid hospital but he succumbed to his injuries on the way.

In a separate incident, a municipality worker was seriously injured after falling into a sewage pit in Al Madame area of Sharjah on Saturday.

He is receiving treatment at Al Dhaid hospital.
