The Etihad Museum has been a very prestigious landmark in the UAE since its inception and tells the story of the 1971 Union Agreement through the eyes of the Founding Fathers.
The museum honours the Founding Fathers dedication, commitment and patriotism by showcasing their achievements and some of their private collections while inviting individuals from all walks of life to follow their shining example in everyday life.
The Etihad Museum allows visitors to view the most important personal collections of the UAE Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, which contains his own stick, beads, sunglasses, wristwatch, and pocket watch.
In collaboration with the Zayed National Museum management team, which serves to document an important part of the national memory and provides the museum with Sheikh Zayed's collection as part of the ‘Let's Preserve the Legacy’ campaign launched by Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the visitors will be inspired by the story of the Founding Father, who established a country that has become a source of pride for all of us.
By introducing visitors to each of the rulers in a meaningful way, the museum ensures that their legacy is celebrated to enrich our present and shape our bright future.
