A fire at the MRS Freezone Enterprises in the Sharjah International Airport Free Zone, partially damaging the factory premises.
The fire that began in the morning at the factory premises, located near Gate Number 3, went on for more than an hour with clouds of dark smoke covering the area.
"The fire happened at the MRS Freezone Enterprises, a Sharjah Unit of a Turkish company, which manufactures and exports paper products," said a company sourcs.
"The fire went on for more than an hour, but nobody was injured. It is now under control," said a source from the Security Department of the free zone.
