FNC candidate dies of heart-attack

Ahmed Abdul Aziz Al Shehhi, a candidate in the elections for the UAE’s Federal National Council from Ras Al Khaimah suffered a heart attack at his home and passed away.

This is the first recorded case of a death of a candidate in the Federal National Council elections on polling day.
