The UAE’S National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) has warned of foggy conditions, especially centred around Dubai’s Al Maktoum International Airport.
The capital is also facing low visibility with Liwa, Khalifa City and Sweihan particularly affected.
The garden city of Al Ain is also facing mist across scattered areas.
Across the eastern region, parts of Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah have been hit by fog.
Commuters on social media are reporting visibility dropping to 100 metres in parts, prompting the Abu Dhabi Police to issue a fog warning and warn residents to drive with fog lights and proceed with caution.
