Foreign investors purchased Dh793.2 million worth of shares on Dubai Financial Market (DFM) and sold Dh741.1 million over the week, DFM said today.
Net foreign investment on the market reached Dh52.2 million, as aggregate buy.
Value of shares bought by foreigner investors comprised 44.9 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the last five days, while value of stocks sold by foreign investors during the same period represented 41.9 per cent of stocks traded during the period, a DFM press release said on the market activities for the current week.
The value of stocks bought by institutional investors reached Dh772.3 million comprising 43.7 per cent of the total value of stocks traded. The value of stocks sold by institutional investors during the period reached Dh747.5 million which constitutes 42.3 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the week.
Net institutional investment on the market stood at Dh24.9 million during the period, as aggregate buy.
