Labourers working outside during the summer should be provided with appropriate light cotton clothing by their employers so as to ensure their comfort, a resolution issued by Fujairah Municipality stipulated on Tuesday. A decision signed by Mohammad Saif Al Afkham, the Director of Fujairah Municipality, warned that all those who violate this rule will face legal action. Al Afkham also issued another decision banning closed cabins in coffee shops in the emirate. Coffee shops should not offer their customers cabins which can be locked from the inside. In case the coffee shops offer private cabins, the height of doors should not exceed one metre, must be automatic and should use transparent materials or glass. Cafes will be given a period of one month to abide by the stipulations in this resolution.
