Girl who fell down from Sharjah flat dead

A Pakistani child died in hospital three days after falling down from her apartment in a building in Sharjah, a newspaper reported on Monday.

The girl had suffered from serious injuries when she hit the ground after the fall and was rushed to hospital where she was admitted to the intensive care unit.

The semi-official daily 'Al Ittihad' did not specify the girl’s age or say which floor she lives but it said police had visited the apartment to investigate the case and identify responsibility for the incident.
