Global Village, the largest family entertainment and shopping venue in the region, is gearing up to end its season on a very high note, by lining up a spectacular array of events during the weekend and lasting until the 31st of March 2012.
Global Village offers visitors the chance to shop in one convenient location, selecting from a wide range of products from around the world. In addition, visitors can partake in a fun-filled schedule of events between now and the end of the season. Shoppers who are hunting for unbeatable bargains will not be disappointed, as there will be incredible value for money.
True to its nature, Global Village has scheduled plenty of vibrant shows, with performances by numerous international bands. As has become customary, there are daily performances on the numerous pavilion theatres which represent at least 45 countries. Furthermore, the Fun Fair area is still proving amazingly popular, having witnessed a massive turnout of visitors who are eager to test-drive the 70 different games on offer. All this adds to the majestical experience and will no doubt form some of the most joyful memories of any child's heart.
It is worth noting that, having extended its festivities until the 31st of March, Global Village has not witnessed cutbacks in the scheduled events, and continues to attract a high turnout of visitors of all ages and nationalities.
Global Village has broken records with a whopping 4.6 million visitors before the end of the season, thereby surpassing the previous record of 4.5 million visitors. This is undeniable evidence of its ever-growing popularity and constant improvements.
Since its inception in 1997, Global Village has become the key entertainment and shopping destination in the region. It includes a rich diversity of cultures and civilizations, and offers a vast range of restaurants and shops from across the world. This season it hosted 29 pavilions, representing 40 countries around the globe.
