Gulf Air hires cabin crew in Dubai today

Bahrain-based Gulf Air will hire inflight staff in Dubai today.

The airline will hold walk-in interviews at Movenpick Hotel & Apartments in Bur Dubai today (Friday, November 8) at 9am.

The candidates, according to an advertisement released in the local media, keen to apply for the positions of cabin crew should be aged between 20 and 30 years while the weight should be proportional to their height.

The airline will be the first full-service network carrier to fly into Al Maktoum International at Dubai World Central. It plans to operate a daily service linking Dubai World Central to Bahrain from December 8, 2013.

Gulf Air already operates 51 flights per week into Dubai International Airport.

The carrier promises competitive tax-free salary and other wide range of benefits to the selected candidates.

“As a new recruit, you will benefit from our world class training facilities and become well-versed in all aspects of inflight safety and services,” it said.

According to the airline’s website, employees are offered medical care, concessional air tickets, annual leave ticket, cargo concession, end-of-service benefits, personal accident insurance among others.

The interested must bring updated CV, passport size photograph and full length photographs to the airline’s recruitment team.

Around 55 nationalities are employed by the Gulf carrier, which serves 32 cities in 21 countries spanning three continents.
