Abu Dhabi will on Wednesday play host to the 10th edition of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (Adihex 2012) at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.

Organised by the Emirates Falconers' Club (EFC), the exhibition will run from September 5 to 8.

The chairman of the Higher Organising Committee, Board Member of the EFC, and Adviser for Culture and Heritage in the Court of Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Mohammed Khalaf al Mazrouei, told the media on Monday some 630 exhibitors from 40 countries around the world will display the latest of their equine and hunting products and services at the exhibition.

He said the 2012 Adihex had registered dramatic growth in terms of exhibiting space which exceeds 38,000 square metres.

''The number of participating companies has doubled more than 15 times since the launch of the first edition in 2003 which attracted only 40 companies, thanks to the aggressive media and marketing road shows to promote the largest event of its kind in the world outside Europe,'' he said.
