An Emirati woman who reported a power failure at her house in Sharjah was told by emergency authorities to turn the air condition in her car and sleep inside.

The woman said power was off twice at her house in the emirate last week and had to spend a long time to reach the emergency to report the problem.

“When she spoke to the emergency employee to enquire about the problem, he simply advised her to turn her car A.C on and sleep inside,” the Dubai-based Emarat Al Youm daily said.
