Illegal migrant jumps to death in Sharjah

A 31-year-old Bangladeshi died of his wounds after jumping out of the window in a building in Sharjah when police came to check his identity.

The man opened the door when he heard knocking, apparently not expecting police men, who were on a routine inspection for violations of the migration and labour law.

When they asked him about his identify, the scared man rushed to the window and jumped out. He was rushed to hospital but died later of his wounds.
