Indian ISC, ICSE results: UAE students excel

Latest: For Grade 12, JSS Interntional school’s Riya Deepak Rajadhyaksha of Commerce stream topped the scores with 94 per cent, while Neha Nagendra of the science stream got 90.5 per cent. 

For the Grade 10, Vishal Meyyappan was the topper with 96.4 per cent. Pooja Ramesh was second with 95.8 per cent, while Varcky Ben George came third with 95.6 per cent.

Results of the board exams under the CISCE (Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination) curriculum were announced on Monday.

Talking to Emirates 24|7, a staffer at Gems Modern Academy informed that “the batch average stood at 86.2 per cent. This is has gone up by 2.2 per cent from last year.”

Hannah Mathew of the science stream was the school topper with a score of 99 per cent in the ISC (grade 12) board.

Sreelakshmy Pushpanadh topped the Commerce stream with 97 per cent, while Kuhelika Ghosh topped humanities with 98.5 per cent.

For the ICSE (grade 10) boards, a record 172 students took the exam from Modern Academy. “We have an average of 88.9 per cent and 58.7 per cent got above 90 per cent,” the teacher added.

Spelling bee champion Sanchit Kapoor topped with 97.8 per cent. Rishad Sukumar came second with 97.4 per cent.

Reeti Shah and Simran Baswani were tied in third with 97.2 per cent.

Ambassador School in Dubai announced the results for Grade 10. Vishakha Arun Sachdev stood first with 95.4 per cent, while Abhishek Pillai came second with 94.2 per cent. Malhar Rajesh Domadia was awarded third at 93.4 per cent.

From Progressive English School in Sharjah, it was Amikh Shibu Ahmed who topped the science stream in ISC (Grade 12) with 95.5 per cent. He is also the school topper.

Zuhra Ahmed topped the commerce stream with 90.5 per cent.

For ICSE (grade 10) Namita Filowin and Sneha K Sibi tied it for the first place at 93.6 per cent.

Atul Raj stood at second with 91.8 per cent and Malavika at third with 90.2 per cent.
