Jet skier collides with rocks in Sharjah, dies

A Kenyan woman was killed after she collided with rocks while she was riding a jet ski in water off Sharjah city, a newspaper said on Friday.

The woman was practising the sport in Mamzar Lake in the emirate on Wednesday evening when her water scooter rammed into the rocks on the edge of the lake.

‘Emarat Al Youm’ quoted police as saying the woman was rushed to hospital with serious injuries but died shortly later.
