Kerala chef eats 1.25m dosa to win Dubai contest
An Indian chef from Kerala beat five participants in the final round of the dosa-eating competition held in Dubai.
Shajahan, who comes from a family of chefs, devoured a 1.25 meter-long dosa in the shortest possible time.
The first round saw 25 participants. Some of them were seen enjoying the dosa, without any rush to compete. The first five winners proceeded to challenge each other in the final round by attempting to finish a 1.25m long dosa first.
“There were no unpleasant experiences. No one choked as they were allowed to sip water,” said the RJ who hosted the event.
There was just one woman participant.
Ramesh Ganapathy, Founder and CEO of Dosa Plaza, awarded the winners.
