Laborer died after the collapsing of sands on him

A laborer from an Asian nationality died after the collapse of sands on him at work site in down town area of Dubai reported Al Bayan newspaper.

The Search and Rescue teams of the General Department of Transport and Rescue recovered the body of the worker who was buried under the sand after collapsed on him.

The builder was working at under construction site when the sand collapsed on him leading to bury the deceased with sand and led to his death.   

Meanwhile Major Tahnoon Hamid the officer on charge at the Search and Rescue department pointed out that the command and control room of Dubai Police was tipped off by the accident at 9:52 am on Saturday morning.

He added once received the report search and rescue patrols rushed to the site of the accident in the downtown area of Dubai.

He stressed within eight minutes three rescue patrols in addition to a vehicle allocated for such accidents (collapsing buildings) reached to the site of the accident.

He explained that the construction worker died after he collapsed on the sand and added that he died before the arrival of the patrols.  

He added that upon arrivals the teams began General safety procedures in cases of landslides and cordoned off the scene and secured it.

He added that it has been secured the hole with special equipment and avoid more deterioration and landslide then picked the body of the deceased up.

He added that it has been transferred the body to the forensic laboratory and Dubai police started investigation to find out the reasons behind the circumstances of the death.
