Leonardo da Vinci exhibition at Dubai Mall until August 13

Some of Leonardo da Vinci’s most fascinating visionary inventions are on display at The Dubai Mall until August 13, 2013.

More than 40 real life-size machines and world-changing inventions and copies of his masterpiece paintings are on display. All items were made by engineers and carpenters from Florence, Italy, according to the inventor’s exact codes and material specifications.

Leonardo da Vinci (1452 – 1519) was an Italian Renaissance genius and polymath: painter, sculptor, architect, musician, mathematician, engineer, inventor, anatomist, geologist, cartographer, botanist, and writer.

The exhibition, ‘Leonardo Da Vinci – The Genius and His Inventions,’ organised by the Italian Consulate, is housed in Rome but travels the world. It is now held at The Grand Atrium at The Dubai Mall.
