Life in jail for drug dealer in Sharjah

A court in Sharjah sentenced a Comoros man to life in prison after he was convicted to smuggling drugs into the country.

Police had arrested the unnamed man and seized a quantity of narcotics he had smuggled into the emirate with the aim of selling it.

The judge handed down the sentence after the prosecutor submitted evidence that the man had smuggled the drugs to sell them inside the UAE.
