Maid hangs herself in police station

An Ethiopian maid committed suicide while in police custody.

Ajman Police arrested the maid following a complaint from her sponsor that she was absconding, reported 'Al Bayan' newspaper. 

She was held in custody awaiting her turn to be presented before the  Department of Naturalisation and Residency, when she requested to use the toilet.

But as she did not return even after two hours, the officials checked on her and found her hanging in the toilet. She had used her own clothes to hang herself.
