Maktoum bin Mohammed accepts resignation of Financial Control Department DG

Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, in his capacity as a Chairman of the Financial Control Department in Dubai, has accepted the resignation of Yasser Abdullah Amiri, Director-General of the Financial Control Department in Dubai.

Sheikh Maktoum commended the active role played by Yasser Abdullah Amiri during his administration of the department, to maintain the financial resources of the government and contribute to the economic growth and prosperity witnessed by Dubai, praising the hard work carried out by the Financial Audit Department (FAD) since its inception in 1995.

Maktoum chairs Dubai Judicial Council meeting Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Judicial Council, on Monday chaired the first meeting of the Dubai Judicial Council, at the Executive Office of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

Sheikh Maktoum congratulated the new members of the Dubai Judicial Council.

Earlier, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, in his capacity as a Ruler of Dubai, has issued decrees on appointments in a number of judicial authorities in Dubai.

Sheikh Maktoum called on the new members to focus during the coming phase on development of the judicial system in the emirate and support the judiciary to keep pace with the government' aspirations and the development of Dubai at all levels.

He commended the efforts of members of the council in the previous period, praising their performance during their tenures.

The meeting was attended by Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani, Director-General of the Ruler's Court, Deputy Chairman of the Dubai Judicial Council, Counselor Essam Eisa Al Humaidan, Attorney General of Dubai, Counselor Yousef Hassan Al Mutawa, Director of Dubai Courts and a number of Dubai Judicial Council members.
