Man dragged out of his house and raped

Two Emiratis posing as detectives dragged another UAE national out of his home in Abu Dhabi and took turns in raping him, a local newspaper reported on Thursday.

A court in the capital was told that the two threatened the victim he could go to prison unless he gets into their car for investigation, 'Emarat Alyoum' said.

“They drove away to a remote area and raped him…he returned home but was afraid of telling the police,” the Arabic language daily said.

“He then told his brother, who quickly reported the crime to the police…the two are now being tried for rape by force.”

The paper said the two unidentified men denied the rape charges and told court that the victim agreed to come with them on his own will.
