Man falls to death at RAK construction site

An Asian worker died after falling off a building under construction in Ras Al Khaimah and police ruled out any criminal activity.

Police and the ambulance had rushed to the site in the Red Island area in the northern emirate after receiving information that a worker had fallen down during duty.

Rescuers found the man, in his 40s, dead at the site and police said he had likely lost his balance during work.
