A Nepali allegedly threatened to kill a Filipina for refusing to have sex with him, the Dubai Criminal Court heard on Tuesday.
DRK, 26, messenger boy, is also accused of consuming alcohol.
RA, 29, clerk, told the Prosecution that on July 15, DRK, who was her close friend, held a knife against her neck demanding sex, and threatened to kill her when she refused.
She had also previously refused his proposal of marraige, RA added.
Meanwhile, AM, 52, a Filipino guard of the buildingg where the victim stays, told the Prosecution that several times in the past three months he had seen the accused follow the Filipina with a knife and threaten her. However, RA had told him not to interfere in the matter when he asked, AM added.
The court adjourned the case for verdict until month end.
