A Bangladeshi, who threatened to kill an Emirati and his family if the latter failed to deport a compatriot, and his Filipina inciter received three months jail terms each.
MBM, 26, worker, and MKT, 24, Filipina housemaid, were ordered to be deported after serving their jail terms.
According to the accusation sheet, on May 15, MBM threatened Saeed Obaid, 36, private guard, over the phone and asked him to deport MAD, 29, Bangladeshi.
Prior to that he called MAD claiming he is a CID staff and asked him not to work for Saeed Obaid.
MKT was behind the incident as she had asked MBM to remove MAD from the house claiming he is molesting her.
After receiving the call, MAD notified his employer who lodged a complaint with the police.
Saeed Obaid called the phone number from which MAD had received the call in the presences of a policeman, but the call was not answered.
After calling the number from different phones MBM answered and threatened Saeed Obaid in the presence of a policeman to kill him and his wife if he did not deport MAD, Obaid testified before the prosecution.
Adel Abdullah, 27, policeman, testified that the accused insulted police when he was called using his colleague’s mobile and was told that the police are calling him.
The accused was arrested for threatening to kill a person and his family and impersonating a police staff and the maid on the accusation of incitement.
