Man on trial for burning police speed cameras

An Arab man is on trial in Ras Al Khaimah on charges of burning two police speed cameras on the roads between that emirate and Fujairah.

Police had arrested the man following reports from passers-by that he torched two cameras instaled on a key road between the two emirates.

The judge at the RAK court set December to issue a sentence against the defendant, according to ‘Al Khaleej’ newspaper, which did not say why he burned the cameras.
