Man run over on RAK road

A 48-year-old Asian man was killed after he was run over by a car while crossing the road in Ras Al Khaimah on Friday, a newspaper said on Saturday.

Al Khaleej quoted police as saying the man died on the spot after he was knocked over by a private Asian driver who works for a UAE family.

A police source said the victim was crossing Dakdaka road when he was caught off guard by a car, whose driver could not evade him.
