News of fast food giant McDonald’s undertaking home delivery services in Dubai gained traction faster than you could say ‘hamburger’, and many happy customers started calling up the customer service number of the fast food giant in Dubai to get home their favourite burger.

After Emirates 24|7 broke the news to our readers on Tuesday (Read: I’m deliverin’ it: McDonald’s starts home delivery service in Dubai), a large number of McDonald’s enthusiasts went busy dialling the delivery numbers to order their favourite burgers and fries.

However, the company has come forward with a few clarifications, stating the home delivery service as of now will be limited to certain areas in the city whereas residents in other parts of Dubai will have to wait a bit longer to get food at their door step.

“At the moment, the McDelivery service is only available in Media City, Internet City, Knowledge Village, TECOM, Emirates Hills and the Greens. More locations will be added as we proceed with the McDelivery servicing plan across the UAE,” a company spokesperson told Emirates 24|7.

Additionally, there are restrictions to what all can be delivered. “Although we serve the majority of products available on McDonald’s UAE’s menu, there are certain products, such as ice-creams, that are not currently being delivered. The McDelivery Call Center number is 60058885 and to order online, customers can visit www.McDelivery.ae,” the spokesperson added.

To order either way, you need to place a minimum order of Dh25, however, there is a small charge that is applicable, making it a bit pricy than what you would pay at the normal outlet or takeaway.

A charge of Dh3 is applicable if you order online whereas a Dh5 would be levied if you place the order on the phone.
