Moderate to heavy rains hit Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah

Rains flooded streets of Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah on Monday afternoon after moderate to heavy rains in the two emirates.

Sharjah residents also welcomed the cooler weather following moderate rains in the different parts of the emirate.

The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) earlier warned of clouds which could increase over eastern and northern areas and may become associated with rain fall and active winds in the coming hours.

It also warned of poor visibility on Al Aaber Street Dubai and Mohamed bin Zayed Street, due to dust and sand.

The centre, in a statement today, warned all roads users to take care and adhere to traffic instructions on roads.
