Mohamed continues visits to families of fallen Emirati servicemen

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, is continuing to visit and offer condolences to the families of the Emirati martyrs who died while performing their national duty during their participation in the Arab coalition Operation Restoring Hope in Yemen.

During his visit to the mourning majlis, Sheikh Mohamed expressed his deep condolences and sincere sympathies to the families of the servicemen, praying to God Almighty to rest their souls in peace, and provide the families with patience to bear their loss.

Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, and Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, were also amongst those who went to pay their respects to the families.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, visited condolence gatherings held for martyr Mohammed Ismail Mohammed Yousef and martyr Hamed Mohammed Abbas Al Baloushi in Kalba in Sharjah.

He also visited the condolence gatherings for martyrs Jassem Saeed Abdullah Al Saadi in Marbah district in Fujairah, and for the martyr Waleed Ahmed Ali Al Dhanhani in Dibba Fujairah, and the martyr Khalifa Abdullah Mohammed Al Saraidi in Al Hala area in Fujairah, and for martyrs Khalifa Mohammed Saeed Al Yamahi and Rashid Saeed Mohammed Al Yamahi in Al Tawyeen area in Fujairah, and for Mohammed Saeed Rashid Al Saraidi in Al Sidr area in Fujairah.

While speaking to the families and relatives of the martyrs, Sheikh Mohamed hailed these heroes, saying, "The national spirit displayed by the martyrs and their relatives cherishes the themes of allegiance and loyalty to this dear nation.

"People who possess this spirit as one family are worthy of pride among the comity of nations and peoples."

Sheikh Mohamed underscored that the cohesion and solidarity demonstrated by the families and relatives, as well as Emiratis in general, at this critical moment "assures and boosts our confidence about the nation and its future".

He noted that the UAE soldiers have displayed courage and discharged their national duties to back the people of Yemen. "This bravery will be an example for current and future generations."

Sheikh Mohamed was accompanied by Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister and a number of Sheikhs.

Phone call from David Cameron

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has received a telephone call from the British Prime Minister David Cameron.

Cameron expressed his sincere condolences on the martyrdom of Emirati servicemen while on duty, defending Yemen's territorial integrity and safety of its people.

On his part, Sheikh Mohamed thanked the British Prime Minister for his noble feelings. 

Condolences to families

Sheikh Mohamed expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the martyrs during a visit today (on Sunday) to the Mourning Majlis in Sharjah.

He offered condolences to the families of martyrs Walid Muhammad Ali Al Yasi, Ahmad Ghulam Abdul Karim Lingawi in the Nouf area of Sharjah and Yousef Hassan Yousef Alobaidly in Tarfana area in the emirate.  

Sheikh Mohamed prayed to Almighty Allah to grant their souls rest in paradise and bestow patience and solace upon their families.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council, Ahmed Juma Al Za'abi, Deputy Minister for Presidential Affairs and Mohammed Mubarak Al Mazrouie, Under-Secretary of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court, accompanied Sheikh Mohamed during his visits to comfort the families of the martyrs.

Meets Yemen President

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received on Saturday evening, President of Yemen, Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi, who is currently visiting the country to pay his respects to the Emirati martyrs, who fell while on national duty.

The President of Yemen conveyed his sincere condolences and expressed sympathy to the UAE over the Emirati martyrs who sacrificed their lives while defending Arab and Yemen brothers from repression and aggression. The martyrs were part of the Arab Coalition's 'Operation Restoring Hope' in Yemen.

Hadi conveyed to Sheikh Mohamed the condolences and solidarity of the government and people of Yemen with their Emirati brothers, saying, "This great historic stance is a paradigm shift, as it reflects cohesion and solidarity among Arabs at its best. This position will remain etched in the minds and hearts of the people of Yemen."

Sheikh Mohamed thanked President Hadi about his noble and fraternal feelings, stressing, "The UAE will remain committed to the Arab Coalition alongside Saudi Arabia to defend Yemen and the region until security, stability and peace are restored to sisterly Yemen."

He said the UAE is firm in its approach to extend a helping hand and support to Arab issues and safeguard the national Gulf and Arab security.

"Such events will not deter us from carrying out our fraternal and humanitarian duty towards our brothers, but they will increase our resolve and strength to achieve the security and humanitarian objectives in the region," Sheikh Mohamed affirmed.

He said, "Our armed forces heroes in the battlefields are more resolved and determined to liberate Yemen and flush out the scum after the tragic incident."

"We will not hesitate. We are with you until the mission is accomplished. Yemen is not your country alone, but we share common history with you. We pray to the Almighty Allah to bless our impending victory," Sheikh Mohamed said.

During the meeting, they reviewed the fraternal relations and joint co-operation between the two sisterly countries, as well as the latest developments on the Yemeni arena.

President Hadi thanked the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his humanitarian initiatives towards the people of Yemen and the humanitarian operations underway to help those affected. He cited the rehabilitation of vital facilities in Aden, especially health, education and social and public services.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister; Mohammed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Under-Secretary at the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court, and a number of officials.

Visits to the mourning Majlis’ in Al Ain city and Ajman

Sheikh Mohamed expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the martyrs during separate visits to the mourning Majlis’ in Al Ain city and Ajman.

Sheikh Mohamed prayed to Almighty Allah to grant their souls rest in Paradise and bestow patience and solace upon their families.
 

Sheikh Mohamed visited the mourning tents of martyrs Abdullah Khalifa Al Nuaimi, Omar Rashid Al Maqbali, Butti Ayel Al Ahbabi, Saad Mohammed Al Ahbabi in Al Ain city, and then proceeded to Ajman where he visited the mourning tents of martyrs Sultan Obeid Al Kaabi, Abdullah Saeed Al Kalbani and Abdullah Ali Al Hammadi.

''Our martyrs, who are symbols of dignity, glory and pride of our people and nation, sacrificed their lives to keep the UAE flag high in the fields of heroism and duty,'' Sheikh Mohamed emphasised.

''Gallant defenders of the nation from our Armed Forces will always remain, as we expected, the protective shield and fortified fortress of this generous nation, advocates of right and justice and supporters of the brothers,'' Sheikh Mohamed said.

''The reverence and pride we hold in our hearts towards our martyrs should spur us to inspire determination, will and resolve from their sacrifices,'' he added.

Receives condolences from US President
 
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received a telephone call from US President Barack Obama, who extended his heartfelt condolences on the martyrdom of scores of Emirati servicemen participating in the Arab Coalition's 'Operation Restoring Hope' in Yemen.

President Obama expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy to the leadership, government, people of the UAE, and to the families of martyrs.

Sheikh Mohamed thanked the US president for his fraternal and noble feelings.

During the phone conversation, Sheikh Mohamed and President Obama reviewed bilateral ties of co-operation and friendship and discussed efforts being made by the UAE and the US to preserve security and stability in the region and to confront challenges that threaten strategic regional security.

Condolences from Arab, friendly leaders on nation's martyrs

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received telephone calls from leaders and kings of Arab countries, during which they offered their sincere condolences on the martyrdom of a number of Emirati servicemen participating in the Arab Coalition's 'Operation Restoring Hope' in Yemen.

Sheikh Mohamed receives condolences over the phone from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia, and Presidents Beji Caid Essebsi of Tunisia, and Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz of Mauritania, who expressed their heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the leadership, government, people of the UAE, and to the families of martyrs.

They prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the martyrs' souls rest in Paradise and bestow patience and solace on their families.

Sheikh Mohamed also received condolences from the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, Dr Ahmad Al-Tayeb, and Egyptian Defence Minister Lt. General Sidqi Sobqi as well as from United States National Security Advisor  Susan Rice.

Condolences from Bahrain's Crown Prince

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received a telephone call from Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister of Bahrain, during which they exchanged condolences on the martyrdom of a number of Emirati and Bahraini servicemen participating in the Arab Coalition's 'Operation Restoring Hope' in Yemen.

Sheikh Mohamed and Prince Salman highly valued the precious sacrifices made by the martyrs in the service of their nation and homeland and in defence of the brotherly Yemeni people, affirming that these sacrifices will further strengthen ''our resolve''to pursue the course set out by the Arab Alliance to achieve victory shortly and then establish legitimacy and preserve security and stability of the Arab region.

They also highlighted the vital role of the GCC common forces in safeguarding security and stability of the region and their efforts to defend dignity of the Arab and Islamic Nation and confront the scourge of terrorism that threatens the region.
