Mohamed meets President of Mexico

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and President Enrique Pena Nieto held talks at Al Mushrif Palace in Abu Dhabi on Monday.
 
President Nieto was accorded an official welcome upon arrival to the Palace with the band playing the national anthems of Mexico and the UAE. He was also greeted with a 21-gun salute.
 
Sheikh Mohamed welcomed the President of Mexico and expressed the hope that his visit will contribute in furthering ties between the countries.
 
He added that the UAE, under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is keen on building relations with different countries of the world on the basis of mutual co-operation, friendship and respect.
 
Sheikh Mohamed also said he was confident that President Nieto's visit to the UAE will open new horizons for co-operation and mutual interests.
 
Mohamed receives Grulac delegation


 
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received at Qasr Al Bahr on Monday a delegation from the Group of Latin America and Caribbean Countries (Grulac), the largest geopolitical group of the International Parliamentary Union (IPU).
 
The delegation, headed by the Group's President Diputado Roberto Leon, was accompanied by Dr. Amal Abdullah Al Qubaisi, Speaker of Federal National Council (FNC).
 
Sheikh Mohamed welcomed the delegation members and wished them a pleasant stay in the UAE and success in their keen efforts to strengthen ties between Latin American countries' and the UAE.
 
He was briefed by Dr. Al Qubaisi on the outcome of talks held between the FNC and Grulac, which focused on enhancing co-operation in political, parliamentary, economic and social fields between the UAE and the group of 22-member countries.
 
Sheikh Mohamed said the UAE, under the wise leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is keen on expanding relations of friendship and partnerships with the Latin American countries, as well as exploring opportunities for co-operation in political, economic, investment and development domains.

General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior; Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister; Sheikh Omar bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation; Sheikh Khalid bin Zayed Al Nahyan Chairman of the Board of Zayed Higher Organisation for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs (ZHO); Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum; Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development; Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Sheikhs and senior officials.
 
Mohamed receives Serbian President


 
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces received in Abu Dhabi on Monday President Tomislav Nikolic of Serbia, who is visiting the UAE to attend the Abu Dhabi sustainability Week 2016.
 
Sheikh Mohamed welcomed President Nikolic and discussed with him ways to enhance ties of friendship and co-operation between the two countries.
 
The meeting also touched on bilateral co-operation in the industrial, commercial, and economic and investment fields, as well as the topics to be addressed during the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week and the new concepts and researches related to renewable energy and water security.
 
Mohamed receives French Foreign Minister


 
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Monday received at Al Bahr Palace, French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius, who is currently visiting the UAE to attend the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2016.
 
Sheikh Mohamed and Minister Fabius discussed ways of enhancing bilateral ties of friendship and co-operation to serve interests of the two countries and their people. They also touched on the distinguished strategic relations and means to advance them in light of the UAE-France friendship.
 
The two parties also exchanged talks on the agenda of the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2016 and the UAE's role in promoting renewable energy sources and its contributions along with other countries and international partners to finding modern, sustainable solutions for developing and sustaining energy sources.
 
The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and the French foreign minister also exchanged views on a variety of latest regional and international developments of mutual concern, including efforts to counter terrorism.
