More colour, more fun, more magic: Dubai's new Global Village

Global Village is set to open its 18th season this Saturday, on October 5, and organisers maintain that the added attractions this year will make it a roaring success

The creation of a new look to the gates and a wide range of other new and innovative attractions will make Global Village an even more exciting place to visit this season

There will be a massive 12,000 international shows at the event this year, which will be the longest edition of Global Village yet, lasting for 148 days this time
 

In addition, there will be a Fantasy Island concept funfair this year, and the four months of Global Village will see festivities including Eid, Diwali and the UAE National Day celebrations
