Moroccan delegation praises level of police services in UAE

Brigadier Matar Ahmed Al Muhairi, Director of the Ports and Airports Security Department at the Abu Dhabi Police General Command, has met a delegation from the Moroccan Police in his office, which is participating in a specialised training session of the Ports Security Institute.

Brigadier Al Muhairi stated that training of police units has the close attention of the police command while highlighting the development witnessed by the institute in keeping pace with modern advances, according to the best international standards and practices.

He also highlighted the desire of everyone working in the Security Department of Abu Dhabi Airport to provide accurate guidance to travellers, which reflects the civilised image of the Abu Dhabi Police General Command in offering the best services to travellers, whether in the arrival or departure hall of the airport.

During a tour of the Abu Dhabi International Airport, the Moroccan delegation was introduced to the level of services provided to travellers, including handling of complaints, initiating reports, receiving and returning lost and found items, and organising awareness campaigns and other services provided by local police centres.

Brigadier Mariam Rabeei, Head of the Employees at the Mohammed V International Airport Borders Police in Morocco, praised the level of services provided by the Abu Dhabi Police General Command, which complies with the best international standards of police work. She also praised its system of training, its efforts of raising its staff efficiency and its deployment of modern technology in its various departments, as well as its keeping pace with the latest developments and international field applications to strengthen security and stability. She also highlighted her desire to strengthen their mutual relations with the Abu Dhabi Police, by exchanging both expertise and personnel.

Lieutenant-Colonel Tawfik Rahmoun, Head of the Security Unit at Marrakesh Menara Airport in Morocco, and a member of the delegation expressed his admiration for the level of development and the excellence of the police and security work that he witnessed in Abu Dhabi. He also praised the experience of the Abu Dhabi Police in this field and expressed his appreciation for their invitation and his delegation’s participation in the specialised training sessions.

Brigadier Al Muhairi presented certificates of appreciation and commemorative gifts to the Moroccan delegation.
