Most Dubai human trafficking complaints from Asians

The Center for Control for Human Trafficking Crime of Dubai Police have received 377 individual complaints so far during the current year, according Major Sultan Al Jamal, Director of the Centre.

Major Al Jamal says that Asians topped the list of individual complaints with 303 complaints, while complaints from Arab nationalities were next with 57 complaints and complaints from the African nationality were 16.

He, however, pointed out that most of the complaints related to labour issues, which were registered with his department.

Major Al Jamal said that his centre found no cases of forced labour according to reports of certain international organisations.
