Nakheel launches 400 new villas at Al Furjan, 3-bedroom starting Dh2.85 million

Dubai-based master developer Nakheel is to launch a new phase of nearly 400 new homes at its Al Furjan community, with bookings accepted from Sunday October 6, the developer announced in a media statement on Thursday.

In its second new residential project launch in a week and eighth this year, Nakheel said it will release 223 three-bedroomed terraced houses and 146 four-bedroomed villas, bringing a new collection of luxury homes to the existing Al Furjan community.

Terraced homes start at Dh2.85 million; villas from Dh4.56 million.

Nakheel also confirmed on Thursday that it has awarded a contract to Al Wasit Roads Contracting to build four new road links between Al Furjan and the E77 (Al Yalayis Road), which connects Dubai’s E311 (Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road) and E11 (Sheikh Zayed Road). Additional RTA main road links are planned.

The new homes at Al Furjan – to be constructed over the next two years – will be an enhanced, upgraded design on the existing community, with high-end homes built in clusters and connected by a series of communal parks and walkways, Nakheel said.

The terraced homes each span 3,242 square feet and come with extensive ground floor living, dining and entertainment space, plus three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a family living room on the first floor. There is also a private garden, and parking for two cars.

Al Furjan’s new villas – the first four-bedroomed homes in the community – come in two layouts: Type A covers 5,447 sqft; Type B spans 4,900 sqft. Each includes extensive, open plan downstairs space, a maid’s room, a huge master bedroom suite, three further bedrooms, three bathrooms, a double enclosed garage and a generous garden.

A Nakheel spokesman said: “Al Furjan is already a vibrant community with more than 800 homes and an upcoming community retail and recreation centre. We anticipate a positive response to this new phase, and are gearing up for another busy day on Sunday.”

Al Furjan’s forthcoming community centre, announced in August, will include a retail centre with convenience stores and cafes, a swimming pool, gym and sports courts, providing a place for residents to meet, relax, keep fit and shop.
