New DM clinic to open in Dubai's Al Warsan area
Considering the increasing number of customers visiting its public health services department for health cards and other medical services annually, Dubai Municipality has planned to open a new clinic at Warsan area, said Zuhoor Al Zabbagh, director of the department.
She said this while addressing the gathering at Customer’s Forum held in Ramada Jumeira Hotel in Bur Dubai.
“We would like to minimise rush and to accommodate more customers. We hope the new clinic will be ready by end of this year,” she said regarding the set up of new clinic.
“We have issued 207852 occupational health cards in 2011. Till October 197,003 cards have been issued. We expect more increase in numbers coming years,” she added.
While talking about the penalties for not issuing health cards on time she said that16,109 penalties were recorded in 2001 while in 2012, so far, the numbers go up to 14,972.
