New Dubai e-service for companies seeking NOC

The Waste Management Department of Dubai Municipality recently launched a new e-service to request NOC for companies working in public projects.

Abdul Majeed Saifaie, Director of Waste Management Department said: “The service is designed to provide the customer with the no objection certificate before or after the full or partial completion of the project, with the aim to ensure the safety of existing or scheduled waste management services in those areas during the project construction. 

“This move comes as part of the enthusiasm of the department to automate all its services in line with the smart government initiative launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai,” Saifaie said.

“The Waste Management Department has total 12 e-services, some of which are linked to the services of hygiene, such as the request to provide waste containers, request to change the location of container,  waste collection, request for NOC to companies operating in public projects, application for contracting with a company to collect and transport waste, disposal of agricultural waste, objection to the penalty on hygiene, certificate for waste disposal, bulk waste removal, request for using waste disposal sites, in addition to services related to the dealers,” he said. 

“All these e-services are available and updated in the iDubai App launched by IT Department of Dubai Municipality. We expect the public to use smart phone apps to avail all government services in order to achieve our aim to be the smartest city in the world,” he further said. 

“The application for above mentioned NOC is mandatory for companies working in roads and constructions projects. For more information , concerned parties can contact the Operation and Service Section of Waste Management Department  on  04-2666639,” he added.
