Finding a good school in Dubai is like winning a lottery. But, here’s some good news for parents bogged down by the long waiting lists.

A new Indian school will open its doors from April next year.

Located over seven acres in Al Khail, Credence High School, will offer 3,000 seats.

It will offer the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) curriculum and the annual fees will range between Dh15,000 (in KG) and Dh26,000 (Grade12).

Initially, the school will have classes from KG to Grade 6.

The school is the brainchild of a group of prominent Indian expats – Nalapad Ahmed Abdulla, managing director of Nalapad Group Overseas, Sameer K Mohammed, MD of Jaleel Holdings and Dr Azad Moopen, chairman of DM Healthcare.

The admission process for the school will start from November this year.

Speaking at the media launch yesterday, Dr Moopen said, “With the innovative XSEED programme, Credence will foster learning that is enjoyable.

“It will focus on moulding a child across academic and non-academic spheres with equal verve and nurturing a sense of social commitment in children so that they learn to contribute to the society.”

The work on the day-boarding school has been completed at a cost of Dh50million. It will offer cutting-edge infrastructure for sports and arts, including a FIFA approved football field.

Apart from these state-of-art facilities, the school also boasts a reputed line-up of teaching faculty.
