New pre-paid parking areas in Sharjah

Sharjah Municipality has included more areas under the pre-paid parking zone, according to Arabic daily ‘Al Ittihad’ Arabic daily..

Atif Al Zarouni, Director, Public Parking Department, Sharjah Municipality, said, the new areas that now come under the pre-paid zones are Al-Naba'ah area (Street No. 80); Al-Zahra Street and Al Shawayheen area - street beside Ebad Al Rahman Mosque.

Municipality has installed parking meters in these areas and the service will be effective from Saturday.

Zarouni added that new areas have been added in order to prevent misuse of parking lots by vehicle owners and provide parking for residents and visitors of the areas.
