No limit on number of bad cheque complaints

Residents can file any number of complaints regarding bounced cheques, according to a top Sharjah Police official.

Major General Humaid Mohammed Al Hadidi, Director-General, Shrajah  Police, said: "Now it has become more flexible where citizens or companies can submit any number of reports of bounced cheques to any police station."

He was replying to a query during a discussion of the policy of Sharjah Police and Public Security by the Sharjah Executive Council on Thursday.
