A four-year-old Dubai boy’s dream of owning a room full of toys to help him recover from recent surgery was granted this week by growing up milk brand, Bebelac Junior, as part of its ‘Two Hearts, One Wish’ campaign.

Ehan recently underwent surgery to correct a serious nose and throat condition. Ehan’s mum, Fayzal, posted her son’s dream for a room full of toys on Bebecare (the Bebelac Junior careline, offering advice to mothers on their children’s nutrition and development needs) and was delighted to hear that Ehan’s wish was to be granted.

Speaking from Ehan’s room, newly filled with toys, she said: “I am very happy that Ehan’s wish has been granted. It has filled me with joy to see Ehan laughing again after the tough time he endured both during and after the surgery. He is absolutely delighted with his gifts."

The ‘Two Hearts, One Wish’ campaign was launched in September to fulfill the wishes and spread some happiness amongst the region’s children. Two other wishes were also granted in the first month, with two-year-olds Daniel and Akshara being given education fees by Bebelac Junior to showcase their artistic and academic abilities, as wished for by their mothers Kavita and Bharadwaj.

Thousands of touching and often funny wishes have been received in the first weeks of the ‘Two Hearts, One Wish’ campaign, from children wishing to become a football star, to asking for an entire Barbie collection, a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Disneyland and the chance to swim with dolphins. Mothers are being inspired to reveal their child’s wildest dreams on the Bebecare Facebook page.

Each month, the twenty top wishes will be selected and posted on the page, and mums will then vote for the top three. A total of nine lucky children’s wishes will be granted during the three-month campaign which spans September to November 2012.

Speaking about the campaign, Abeer Esawi, Bebecare representative and specialised registered nurse certified in Unicef Breastfeeding Management, added: “I would like to personally congratulate the three mums whose wishes are being granted this month. As a mother myself, I know how thrilled they must be that their children’s happiness and development are being supported in this way, and I can’t wait to make three more lucky mums wishes come true next month.”
