Pakistan embassy, consulate to be closed on May 1

Pakistan’s embassy and consulate in the UAE will remain closed on the eve of labour day next week.

According to a press statement issued by the Press Section of Pakistan Consulate in Dubai, Embassy of Pakistan in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General of Pakistan in Dubai will remain closed on Sunday, May 1, 2016, in connection with International Labour Day – hence there will be no issuance and renewal of passports and identity cards on this day.

The work will resume on Monday, May 2.
