Dubai Police has asked motorists not to park their vehicles in front of mosques.

Colonel Saif Muhair Al Mazroui, Director of Dubai Traffic Police, called on motorists to park properly in front of mosques and not to create chaos around mosques by parking their cars in the middle of the road and blocking the way for other motorists at night.

Col. Al Mazroui said patrols are being intensified around mosques to organise traffic and fine violators.

He pointed out that the illegal parking near mosques causes traffic chaos and congestion on all roads in Dubai. Such parking also hinders the smooth functioning of civil defence and ambulances.

He urged the public report reckless & unmindful motorists to ‘We Are All Police’ Programme on 800-4353.
